How The Private Sector Is Protecting Children with Dr. Santhosh Paulus, Northwell Health

Our work with the private sector is a key part of our child protection programs. In our series, How The Private Sector Is Protecting Children, we talk with corporate leaders about how their organizations are working to end exploitation.

Dr. Santhosh Paulus is a family medicine physician at Northwell Health and the senior program director of the Human Trafficking HEART Program. Not only that, but Dr. Paulus has also founded and serves as the president of Cycling for Change, a nonprofit that is focused on raising awareness of human trafficking issues. He is also a member of the ECPAT-USA Board of Directors.

"Within healthcare, we're in a unique opportunity where patients are coming to us, and we just need to be able to identify [trafficking victims],” Dr. Paulus said. Watch the full interview in the video below.
