Sharon Appelman

Sharon Appelman, CFP®, Senior Vice President, is a Senior Wealth Planner in the Bolton group at Neuberger Berman.  Prior to working with the Bolton Group, Sharon founded and built the wealth planning department at Neuberger Berman, serving as Director of Wealth Planning from 2014 to 2017.  Before joining Neuberger Berman, Sharon was Director of Financial Planning and Investment Management at Francis Financial, Inc.  Sharon received an MBA from Bar Ilan University, Israel, and a Bachelor of Music in cello performance from the Royal Academy of Music, London.  She has been awarded the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ CERTIFICATION. Sharon serves on the board of directors of ECPAT-USA and has so far been involved in the finance committee. In 2020, she became the secretary and joined the corporate relations committee where she fuses her musical and corporate backgrounds in a creative and thoughtful way.  Originally from England, Sharon now lives in Manhattan with her husband and two children.  Her passions include music, meditation, the Alexander Technique and forest bathing.
