
Johna Johnson
Johna is a lifelong advocate for children and animals with a passion for service. She has had a remarkable career with American Airlines, spanning two decades, during which she held many senior leadership positions including Manager, Global accounts and Director of Sales NYC. She has managed a portfolio of American Airline’s largest distributor and global corporate customers (a $300M to $4B portfolio) and has also been a mentor and internal supporter of child trafficking education programs. In 2012, she founded the American Airlines Women’s Exchange of Greater New York which brought together American Airline associates and its customers to provide educational and networking opportunities for personal and professional growth. She is a recipient of the Amex Partner in Travel Award, and her contributions to the workplace are often applauded by her colleagues and leadership alike. She volunteers with the Texas Master Gardener Program in Denton County and Apollo Rescue and Support. In addition to volunteering and mentorship, she has held a number Board roles including with the New York City Business Travel Association and ECPAT-USA. She is a certified Leadership that Works Transformational coach, a certified yoga teacher, and a certified Qigong Practice Leader and she enjoys helping others create overall body awareness and wellness.
