🌟 This Holiday Season,
Join our PACT to Protect All Children! 🌟
Child trafficking is not a distant menace that only happens overseas.
Every year thousands of children in the U.S. become victims of child trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. For over 30 years, PACT has worked to eliminate this horrific crime and eradicate a public health crisis through prevention efforts. PACT’s programs include youth and community education, legislative advocacy, and engagement and training of the private sector who have a role and responsibility to carry out to ensure child protection.
With your support, we give students tools to maintain healthy relationships, practice online safety, and recognize grooming and trafficking behaviors. PACT engages young people through its child protection program, allowing them to take a leadership role, advocating for the protection of themselves and others.
Our Board Members reflect on their reasons for Giving Back & supporting PACT this Holiday Season!
“Stories about human trafficking hit you in the gut, especially when they involve children. The pain of these crimes can feel overwhelming until you realize that something can be done. When I learned about PACT and how they tackle the trafficking crisis – through youth education, legislative advocacy and helping industry take action – I had to get involved. PACT really is changing lives, and its work continues to teach me how I can help.”
Paul Pellizzari, Board Member
“PACT and its mission to protect children from commercial sexual exploitation are very dear to my heart. Being a Board Member is part of my identity, and fighting human trafficking is part of my vocation as a Christian minister. In addition to supporting a worthy cause, I give to PACT because the leaders at the helm are competent, compassionate, and truly brilliant. As the longest-serving Board Member, I have seen this organization grow by leaps and bounds in numbers and in impact. It is a privilege and an inspiration to serve alongside staff and fellow Board Members committed to the right of every child to grow up free from sexual exploitation and trafficking.”
Rev. Adrian Dannhauser, Board Member
"As the daughter of a human trafficking survivor, I saw firsthand the lasting impact and trauma my mother experienced. When I was introduced to PACT, I saw an opportunity to support the mission of protecting every child’s right to grow up free from sexual exploitation and trafficking to ensure others do not have to endure what my mother did."
Christina Massalay, Board Member
“Traffickers and their victims often hide in plain sight. I've heard people say that human trafficking is so horrific that it's easier to turn a blind eye, imagining that trafficking does not happen in the US. Yet the reality is that child trafficking and exploitation occurs in every state, robbing children of their basic right to a childhood – and so, so much more that cannot be put into words. The average age of trafficking victims is 12, and children account for more than 50% of those trafficked. I joined the board of PACT to help break the silence, and to help protect our children through awareness and advocacy.”
Robyn Conlon, Board Member
