Join the PACT Community on Bluesky

We are excited to share that we have transitioned from X to Bluesky, joining our peer organizations, including ECPAT International, on this growing platform.

We invite you to join us at @WeAre-PACT.bsky.social, as we continue to champion child protection and advocate for a safer digital world for all.

PACT chose Bluesky because of its commitment to a safer online experience for youth. As their user base expands, so does its investment into safety infrastructure. By growing their moderation teams and leveraging cutting-edge technology, Bluesky is strengthening its capabilities to detect harmful content such as child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

A key part of this effort is Bluesky’s partnership with Thorn, one of the most trusted organizations in the child protection space, integrating its Safer technology, to reduce the burden on moderators by automating parts of the detection process, while still tapping into expert human oversight for decisions that require greater nuance and judgment. You can learn more about their joint efforts in this blog post co-authored by Thorn and Bluesky.

“At PACT, our mission to protect children from sexual exploitation and trafficking guides every decision we make, including where and how we engage online. As we expand into new spaces, we remain deeply committed to platforms that reflect our core values: safety, transparency, and responsible use of the Internet. We look forward to continuing to share vital resources for the community, elevate survivor stories, and build a community united in protecting children,” said Lori Cohen, CEO at PACT.

We are proud to be part of this evolving space and remain committed to ensuring the safety and dignity of every child – no matter the platform.
