Adrian Dannhauser

Adrian is the Priest in Charge at Church of the Incarnation in Manhattan and Chair of the Episcopal Diocese of New York Task Force Against Human Trafficking. She is especially committed to motivating religious communities to exercise their faith through anti-trafficking efforts. Her work concerning human trafficking recognition training for hotels and advocacy for The Code has been noted in The New York Times and earned her the New York Nonprofit Media 40 Under 40 Rising Stars award in 2017. In 2019, Adrian was featured on BBC News World Service Radio for leading "Stations of the Cross for Sex Trafficking Survivors," an awareness raising effort and religious demonstration to educate people of faith about sex trafficking in New York City. Before ordained ministry, Adrian practiced bankruptcy law at the Wall Street firm, Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP. She holds a B.A. from Duke University, a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, and an M.Div. from Yale Divinity School.
